I'm not sure if it works for other recent OPPO/OnePlus devices running CN ColorOS or not, so if it works for you do share your result in the comments below along with what device you had success with! I am pretty sure this won't work for older devices though since it's only this easy because a lot of recent phones from China these days has basic Google Services built in (aside from Huawei). For...

Will it have green line issue?
no idea, but i believe all phones using OLED screens will have the chance of developing green lines when the panel gets damaged. I've seen it happen on xiaomi phones, sony phones, samsung phones, vivo phones, iphones, etc. It's mostly happening on older phones too, so we won't know for sure until much later. my guess is that it could heat related wear and tear since a lot of ppl have reported seeing the green line after a software update. my sister has a xiaomi phone (11T Pro) that developed a green line after an update and her comment was that the phone felt really hot at that time. the updating process will usually heat up the phone a lot and sometimes that update process happens while the phone is plugged in and charging. most ppl have their phones in a case too and what not. and things like placing the phone on their bed (which traps a ton of heat) doesn't help too. basically, i believe most phones will have the chance of developing green line since it's just a symptom of damaged OLED screen. If you're really concerned about it, just try your best to avoid dropping the phone, or making the phone run too hot too often.
Literally a sleeper phone fast and reliable, I picked one up for $20 had a remote management company portal managed to remove it now a perfectly working phone does the job and more
Can you make a guide for coloros
thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately i don't have the phone with me anymore and have moved on to try other devices 😂
Give this man a 🏅
I dont know how this video came up on my TL, but im here on Pixel 8pro as a former Og pixel XL owner. I definitely loved that phone and I have been with Google since the nexus 6. And I've had every Pixel except for the 2 and 4.
For oneplus ace 3 global rom is the nfc working?
i have no idea about that since i'm not using global ROM. but it is working on the CN ROM colorOS. have used Google Pay on it without any issue.
Hello, I am planning to buy this phone during the 618 promotion. Are there any bugs in the international version of the OS? Except that NFC cannot be used. (although I don't use this)
I haven't kept up to date. But from the XDA thread I saw about the issues regarding flashing global ROM on the Ace3, I wouldn't recommend it though. I haven't tried it myself since I'm fine with using the CN version of colorOS. But if you're planning on getting it during 618 from China directly, the main issue is probably region lock though. Gotta make sure the seller can unlock it for you.
@@axhng I have received the phone. It looks like the seller has unlocked the region restrictions and flashed PJE110's ColorOS 14. Since I rarely use the phone and don't use most of the unrealistic features, it seems to be OK. The only problem now is that I can't upgrade from 14 to 14.1 because I heard that doing so will cause signal loss. Maybe I can wait for the custom ROM ColorOS update instead of the official ROM update.
Given the fact that I uninstall android auto and turn google location history off, these 2 are features for me with this phone 🤣
🤣yeah, i don't care much for those features too and will normally disable android auto if I can. being able to uninstall almost all the extra stuff, is a nice bonus for me. the global version of HyperOS on the other hand has more things that can't be uninstalled or disabled.
wow this looks so smooth, goodbye oneplus 🤣
I have ace2pro but problem is that I can't get color os 14 update on it. Why??
it's still on ColorOS 13 for yours? i thought they rolled our ColorOS 14 for Ace 2 Pro late last year. But if your phone can't get the OTA for some reason even though the bootloader is untouched and not rooted, maybe you could try to use the "local upgrade" option and downloading the ROM from online. No idea where to get official ROM though, perhaps XDA or gotta rely on Chinese sites.
I want to buy this phone in Malaysia...if i don't flash from color os to oxygen os...what cons that i will get?
like most other chinese phones, no android auto, nearbyshare won't work, google location history won't work too. then some smaller stuff will be the need to uninstall and turn off more things, which makes for a longer setup process. but it has other advantages too. like CN rom usually have more features, lets you uninstall more things from the phone, it has way more control over app permissions, gets updated faster, and if you use apps like bilibili, no need to sideload and you can just install from their App Market and update from there too. in the Ace3's case, i recommend doing more research about the conversion to OxygenOS because last I read on XDA, the process isn't perfect and might be quite troublesome. if you really want oxygenOS, might want to consider OP12 too which might not be that much more expensive these days and I think can be converted to oxygenOS more easily. at least here in singapore, on 6/6 sales on lazada, the prices were really low.
@@axhng ouhhh
@@axhng if stick with china rom...will be any trouble soon?
@@axhng i likely just use color OS instead of oxygen...idk why so many people convert their phone into oxygen...at some case...that u said not perfectly done...their connection due internet cant be done anymote after the flash
@@mohamadtahir5178 I've been using CN ColorOS and it's been fine with even local government and banking apps in Singapore. though not sure about MY side though. I think a lot of ppl just prefer using something with full google services? it is easier in a sense since no need to install playstore and all the google stuff like nearby share, location history will work. the main thing to look out for is just to make sure from the seller that the phone is region unlocked. Most importers will probably know about this since they've been doing this nonsense region lock thing since Ace 2.
Hi, can you tell me since it hasn't been released globally yet if it's missing something on the software side, network language or similar stuff? Thank you very much.
hmm. the most obvious things I can see would be the google stuff. like it won't have Android auto, nearbyshare, google location history. network wise, you'll probably have to check the support bands anyway to make since even global phones might have varying bands that they support or don't, especially if you're using 5G plan. 4G should be pretty safe though. system language wise, not sure if it's missing any, but it does have english at least which I can switch to during first boot.
@@axhng ty,does it have italian language
@@Emanuuz sorry, but i don't recall unfortunately, and i no longer have the phone around with me to check.
Bloatwares always turns me off, but dang if you showed me this phone and the camera samples as they are I wouldn't have thought it was marketed as a gaming phone, though like you said they are shifting away from that to a more general phone.Overall I've been seeing vivo releasing better phones recently (or maybe I just never bothered last time), and it's exciting for me with so many options should I get a new phone next time.
yeah, the camera performance is really quite surprising from a supposing "gaming focused" brand. and it's shame that some of the bloatware can't be disabled or installed too. Ironically, their CN only OriginOS actually allows for most of the pre-installed app to be removed, even a lot of their own apps. This is the same for CN HyperOS and ColorOS too, both allow the removal of a lot more built-in apps than their global version. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but well, it's not a huge deal breaker in the end. i can still go into those bloatware's app info page to turn off permissions and whatnot, then chuck them into a folder and ignore them completely. 🤣

Hello! Please do a review on the Meizu 21 or 20. It's much more affordable, but I am curious if it runs any SG apps well.
Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately I probably wouldn't be reviewing those devices since they don't really interest me as much. from what I see from reviews in CN, they are not the best when it comes to gaming performance, which is something that I look for in a phone these days. 😅

Is it a bad phone?
Thank you for this video where do you advise me to buy this phone ?
It kinda depends on where you live. In general, just get from a reputable importer or online shopping platforms so that at least you have some recourse if the phone has issues out of the box. Some better seller might even offer their own warranty, but just have to keep in mind to not count on that too much since it will be completely up to their discretion. For me in Singapore, shopping platforms like shopee and Lazada is usually the first place I'll look at since if there's anything wrong with the phone, those platform can help make the return/refund process a bit easier than dealing with direct sellers. Taobao too would be another option. Just have to compare prices and find the best deal.
@@axhng Thank You so much for your prompt reply. I love all the videos you've made here.

Pixel 5, sony xperia 5 mark 3 What is the best camera for video shoot... Please tell me😢
I really like the size of the se and the home button with fingerprint reader is just easy to use . I am not worried about it being an outdated design. My biggest priority is to have a compact smartphone, and this is the only one available new in the shops at this small size
I thought about getting the iPhone SE because I like it bc it's small and it's just comfortable to have. But if I want a phone to last me for 3 to 4 years I could get an iPhone SE but it's so outdated with the design and retro looking that I might get stares. I genuinely thought about it and I'm probably going to go with the iPhone 15 pro and just have that phone for the next 3 to 4 years. That would probably be my daily driver
😅unless you have a specific reason, the 15 Pro is probably a better bet, or maybe even the next SE that is rumoured to be coming next year with a more modern design.
I wouldn’t worry about being stared at . Just use whatever phone is right for you
Watching on xz2 compact 2024 😊
2024 and these days this is just a mid sized phone.
Hey, hello. I have a question about the design of the folders. At minute 2:20 a folder with a blur effect appears, but on my OnePlus with OxygenOS I have not found a way for it to have the same appearance, it looks just a light gray background instead of the blur effect. How did you get it? Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
hi there, the phone at around 2:20 is the Redmi K70 Pro. It's just part of hyperOS i guess. i don't see a way to change the way the folder looks on ColorOS or OxygenOS too. that blur/frosted/translucent effect that look nicer to me as well. 😅
@@axhng Omg, thanks, Its true 😫
This is quite confusing, there's no Ip rating whatsoever but they market that the screen will work when it's wet. I checked their chinese product page
indeed. it's kinda like the oneplus ace 3 too which has this feature but seemingly no IP rating. but most phones these are probably have some measures against water ingress, like having a rubber gasket around the usb-c port, mics, etc. might not but as good as full IP68, but should be fine against wet hands or a small drizzle. my guess is that that's what this feature is for rather than full on using the phone underwater or whatnot. For most more budget oriented devices, my guess is that it's just not worth paying the money to get it certified. 😅
Hello! nice vid as always. Keep making this type of videos 👍.But can you tell me how can i buy CN varient phone (In india) ?
Thanks! unfortunately i have no idea how the market is like in India since aliexpress got banned? perhaps you can check with reviewers from India who regularly reviews these CN phones? or perhaps can search on facebook since there might be independent importers? good luck!
oof. reuploaded. had to fix a minor visual mistake in one of the clips i used. no change in the content otherwise. thanks to the viewer who pointed that out to me! EDIT: by the way, do take note that it's probably not as easy or seamless to switch from CN ColorOS to OxygenOS these days. also, they introduced some sort of region lock (something i encountered on the Ace2), so if you do want to buy the Ace 3 or any CN imported OPPO/OnePlus phones, just check with the sellers to make sure they're unlocked first. OPPO/OnePlus seems to be trying to stop ppl buying the cheaper CN units and then flashing Global ROM, perhaps wanting to get ppl to buy from their partners/distributors in their respective countries. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ anyway, my personal recommendation is to just stick with ColorOS to be on the safe side, since no idea whether those "converted" units from importers will work as well or not. And if you don't want to use CN ColorOS, it's probably safer to just look at other phones instead. link to folks trying to convert ace 3 to 12r. it's doable, but seems like not without some caveats. xdaforums.com/t/ace-3-to-12r-how-i-converted-my-oneplus-ace-3-to-12r.4663519/
Should i buy it or save up for the fiio btr3k?
the BTR3K is probably still a better bet since it has better support, and seems to be more durable. but it is a pretty old device at this point and FIIO has mentioned at the start of the year that they will have a new model out this year, the BTR11, and the timeline they gave was around June. so at this point, i think better to just wait for that newer model. 😅 forum.fiio.com/note/showNoteContent.do?id=202401201120349466517&tid=4
Did you try to use it in Desktop Mode?
Hi Alex, I’m really enjoy your video , I’ve been thinking about buying the EB2S Pro, do you think that is a big upgrade for me ( I’m already have iris 2.0, iris ancestor, kbear stella ) K’s LBBS is a safe bet but EB2S Pro is cheaper (half the price compared to LBBS) , some advice from you would be great and thank you very much .
hi there! personally, I think it's a pretty noticeable upgrade over the iris ancestor, kbear stellar, and the bunch of other cheaper buds I've tried. for me i like it slightly over the LBBS as well since it's a little warmer sounding, and the dongle dac that I'm using is on more neutral side of thing. otherwise technicalities wise, i think they're quite similar, so being cheaper as well, it's better value to me if the size of the earbuds aren't a concern (LBBS is a bit smaller). I don't the pro version of the EB2S, though I've seen comments that it's supposed to be slightly better than the original. it seems like according to graphs it's a little warmer still? so your mileage may vary on which one you might prefer. imgur.com/neAjFGk the eb2s pro got pretty positive review from DMS too. ua-cam.com/video/3sm1zFqnMeU/v-deo.html
Hi great review and video, which one is better compared to the faaeal iris 2.0
Thanks! unfortunately i've not tried the iris 2.0, so can't say.
I want this but my phone is still good. Will there be a find n4?
the Find N3 seems well received, so i think there's a good chance for a Find N4.
Please, tell us about iqoo 12 Chinese rom.
i've not tried the iQOO 12 CN ROM, only have a short experience with the Neo9 Pro. In the time I had with it, it seems quite nice to use for the most part. Nice UI and animations, useful features built in, i like their gestures for floating window mode for example. Their desktop app for MacOS integration works rather well too and i can even mirror and control the phone on my Mac desktop. Also like HyperOS, it does have basic google services built in too so account sync (contacts, calendar, etc) works fine, and Play Store can be installed easily from the built-in app store too. Same caveats applies though with no Android Auto, no Google Location History, and notifications will have delay unless you change some app settings and lock the app to prevent them from being frozen. Another unfortunate thing is that their gaming upscaling and frame interpolation features doesn't work for global version of games like Genshin. only works for the chinese game client, which is a bit disappointing.
@@axhng really helpful, thanks alot. I want to get an SD gen 3 phone, and so far, iqoo 12 is in my top list. Realme gt 5 pro was my top but I don't like curved screen. But realme ui Chinese rom is really usable. Unlike redmi Chinese rom, it can be very restrictive from my past experience. Wanted to know if fun touch is usable like realme when you get the Chinese rom variant.
@@genesisyt9662 no problem. though for iQOO 12, since it's available in more countries outside of china, if you can get the global version, might be better to just go for that. I don't like their global FunTouchOS as much, but it should have less issues when using outside of China. 😅 and if you're not in a hurry, there are rumours that vivo X100s might have a flat screen too, and there might be a X100 Pro+ or Ultra, and iQOO 12s too perhaps looking at their previous release cycles.
@@axhng okay, thanks, lemme wait a little and see.. curved screens should be banned. The aesthetic is no more interesting.

Question can this phone download any Google apps like chrome or email and also google play, plus does it work on games that needs to use google account to log in?😅
I don't play any games that uses google account to log in, but my guess is that it shouldn't be an issue since even the China version of HyperOS has basic google services as mentioned. i can sign in to my google account to sync contacts, calendar too. i'm using apps like gmail, google keep, books, youtube, drive, docs, maps on the phone and they can use the same google account sign in just like any regular android phone. play store can be installed from the built in app store like shown in the video, and after that can install apps from the play store as usual.
